Police are investigating after a 23-year-old woman died after being found unconscious on the road at the junction of Shing Mun Road and Castle Peak Road about 7.10am today.

Officers believe she may have been hit by a vehicle which drove away after the accident. The woman had serious head injuries, and was certified dead at Princess Margaret Hospital at 8.16am.
