Man dies in Yuen Long hit-and-run

A 63-year-old man has died after being struck by a van outside Long Ping MTR Station in Yuen Long. The van driver fled the accident scene after the crash.

 

About 6.20am, the vehicle travelling along Ma Wang Road towards Tuen Mun hit the man who was crossing the road at a pedestrian crossing outside the Long Ping MTR Station.

 

He was taken to Pok Oi Hospital with head injuries and was certified dead at 7.02am.

 

Witnesses should call Police on 2675 3325 or 2675 3384.
