Van driver dies in Sai Kung crash

A 46-year-old van driver has been killed in a Sai Kung traffic accident after his vehicle hit a tree on Hoi Ha Road.

 

Shortly after 1am, the van travelling along Hoi Ha Road reportedly rammed into a tree on the roadside about 2km away from Pak Tam Road.

 

The driver was trapped inside the vehicle and was rescued by firefighters. He was taken to Tseung Kwan O Hospital where he was certified dead at 3.13am.
