Secretary for Justice Wong Yan Lung will start his five-day visit to the Mainland on September 1. He will attend the seventh Chinese Lawyers' Forum in Yinchuan, Ningxia, and meet senior officials of the Supreme People's Court and the Ministry of Justice in Beijing.

On the first two days of his visit, Mr Wong will attend the forum and meet with senior officials of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and the Department of Justice.

On September 3 and 4, Mr Wong will will meet senior officials of the Supreme People's Court and the Ministry of Justice, as well as representatives of the China International Economic & Trade Arbitration Commission in Beijing. He will also make courtesy calls on the State Council Hong Kong & Macau Affairs Office and the National People's Congress Standing Committee Basic Law Committee.

He will return to Hong Kong on September 5.
