Restaurant fined for safety breach

Perfect Plan Limited, trading as Itamae Sushi, has been fined $40,000 at Kowloon City Magistracy for violation of the Occupational Safety & Health Ordinance.

 

A fire broke out at the restaurant in Mong Kok on September 16 when workers refilled an ethanol container. A worker sustained extensive burns and died.
