Woman cyclist dies in Sha Tin mishap

Hong Kong Police

A 58-year-old woman cyclist died in Sha Tin after being struck by a goods vehicle. Anyone who saw the accident is urged to contact Police on 3661 1300.

 

Just after 8pm, a 55-year-old man was driving the vehicle along Che Kung Miu Road. He turned left into Hin Keng Estate, then left again onto a slip road where the vehicle reportedly knocked down the woman's bicycle.

 

She was certified dead at the scene.
