Immigration officers commended
*
Lai Tung-kwok with outstanding immigration staff
Outstanding officers: Director of Immigration Lai Tung-kwok congratulates officers awarded the Director's Commendation.

Five Immigration Department officers have been awarded the Director's Commendation for their outstanding performances, and 27 have received the Assistant Directors' Commendation.

 

Of the five awarded the Director's Commendation, Senior Immigration Officers Kwan Kwan-lin and Lo Tak-on were praised for their contribution in the successful roll-out of the automated passenger clearance system. Immigration Officer Jeanie Chan shut down illicit immigration activities at the airport, while Immigration Officer Lee Chun-yu and Senior Immigration Assistant Ng Wai-ming solved serious illegal document transfers.

 

Director of Immigration Lai Tung-kwok congratulated the awardees. He called on officers to continue demonstrating their esprit de corps in the challenges ahead and strive for improvement in services provided to the public.
