Marine Police and Customs have seized $34-million worth of contraband electronic products in Sai Kung.

Last night's joint anti-smuggling operation involved goods being unloaded from two trucks onto four speedboats at a beach in Tsam Chuk Wan. When officers took action, the smugglers abandoned the cargo and escaped in the speedboats.

More than 400 boxes of products, including computer disks, servers, integrated circuits, notebook computers, LCD panels, watch parts and second-hand mobile phones were seized.
