Fourteen illegal workers and five employers or bosses have been arrested in two anti-illegal employment operations.

Jointly conducted by the Labour Department, the Police and the Immigration Department in Eastern District today and West Kowloon on Monday, the operations covered 30 suspect locations.

Nine arrestees were found working as sales assistants, two as waiters or kitchen helpers, two as foot masseurs and one as a tailor. All are Mainlanders holding valid two-way permits. The majority came from Guangdong.

Their employers and bosses are being questioned.

Call 2815 2200 to report illegal employment.
