866,000 pirated disks seized
*
Customs & Excise Department

Customs officers have seized 866,000 pirated disks worth about $14.17 million at an outdoor cargo yard near Kwu Tong in Sheung Shui, arresting four men.

The arrested men were aged between 44 and 54, including a 44-year-old factory manager.

The officers investigated a Hong Kong-registered lorry off-loading infringing disks at a cargo yard on March 28. They raided a local optical disk manufacturing licence factory in Fo Tan yesterday and verified the veracity of the letter of authorisation for disk production.
