2 dead in Kwai Chung murder-suicide

*
Hong Kong Police

Police are investigating a murder-suicide case involving a 48-year-old man and his 36-year-old wife in Kwai Chung on December 30.

Shortly after 12.30am, Police received a report from a 12-year-old girl that her parents fell from height from their home in Kwai Ming House, Kwai Fong Estate, after a dispute. They were certified dead at the scene.

A hammer was found inside the couple's flat. Police believe the man jumped to his death after attacking his wife with the hammer and pushing her out the window. A post-mortem examination will be conducted January 2.
