The Monetary Authority warns consumers to beware of bogus website www.boeauk.com, which looks similar to the Bank of East Asia's official site.

 

The bank has clarified that it has no connection with the fraudulent site, and the case has been reported to Police.

 

People who have provided personal information to the website, or made financial transactions through it, should contact the Bank of East Asia on 3608 2518 or Police on 2860 5012.
