1 dead, 3 injured in Pat Heung crash

A 21-year-old man died and three other people were injured in a car accident in Pat Heung last night.

 

At about 10.40pm, 21-year-old man was driving along Kam Sheung Road towards Tai Po. When a car in front slowed near Hoi Tong Garden, the driver apparently lost control and went into the opposite lane, hitting another car before it overturned.

 

The driver and a 21-year-old passenger in the overturned car were sent to North District Hospital where the passenger was certified dead at 11:26pm.

 

The 30-year-old driver of the car that was hit and his 32-year-old passenger suffered slight injuries and were also sent to North District Hospital.

 

New Territories North's special traffic investigation team is following up. Anyone who saw the accident is urged to contact investigating officers on 2677 6299.
