HK, Norway sign immigration pact

Done deal: Norwegian Ambassador Tor Christian Hildan and Director of Immigration Lai Tung-kwok.

Hong Kong and Norway have signed a bilateral agreement on the timely identification and return of people illegally entering or remaining in their respective jurisdictions.

 

Director of Immigration Lai Tung-kwok today signed the pact with Norwegian Ambassador Tor Christian Hildan.

 

Designed to enhance co-operation in combating illegal immigration, the agreement will come into force after internal procedures are completed.
