37 tickets issued in traffic offence blitz

Hong Kong Police

Police have issued 37 tickets and 16 summonses to traffic offenders in Kowloon East, along with 98 parking tickets.

 

The Kowloon East Regional Traffic Day, from 7am to 11pm yesterday, saw 186 officers man accident blackspots.

 

Warnings were issued to 17 jaywalkers and 91 drivers for minor offences, and road-safety pamphlets were also distributed.

 

The region saw 1,369 traffic accidents from January to August.
