Hong Kong Police

Police have charged seven men, aged 23 to 39, of conspiracy to commit theft, after recovering stolen electronic components valued at $8 million. They will appear in the Tsuen Wan Magistrates' Courts on Monday.

About 12.20pm on Thursday officers found three men stealing a van parked on Kwai Ting Road in Kwai Chung. The men then drove the vehicle towards Yuen Long.

The officers stopped the van loaded with electronic components when it entered a godown on Tan Kwai Tsuen Road in Yuen Long and arrested the seven men, including the syndicate mastermind.

The men, aged 23 to 39, are believed to be part of a syndicate stealing high-valued goods in the New Territories South region recently.
