Solomon Islands warning issued
*

Hong Kong residents going to the Solomon Islands should stay abreast of the latest developments there and pay attention to their personal safety.

The Security Bureau issued the reminder today in view of the recent situation in the country.

The Security Bureau said the Hong Kong Government will continue to monitor the situation.

Hong Kong residents who are in the Solomon Islands and need assistance may contact the Chinese Embassies or Consulate Generals in nearby countries or call the Hong Kong Immigration Department's 24-hour hotline,  (852) 1868.

The telephone numbers and addresses of the Chinese Embassies and Consulate Generals overseas can be obtained by calling the Immigration Department at (852) 2824 6111.
