Robbery victims urged to come forward

Stolen property
Stolen property: A golden Thai Buddha amulet, believed to have been taken from a robbery victim, was found on the arrested man.
*

People robbed in Kowloon City by a knife-weilding man are urged to call Police.

The appeal has been made following the arrest of a 38-year-old man on April 9 in Tung Choi Street, Mong Kok. At 1.7 metres tall and of thin build, he was in possession of a 20-centimetre knife.

He is suspected to be connected to the recent spate of robberies and burglaries in which most of the victims were robbed of mobile phones, cash and ornaments.

Victims of similar style robberies in the past three months should contact Police on 2761 8216.
