Use of Lo Wu control point encouraged
*
Immigration Department

The Immigration Department appeals to Mainlanders coming to visit Hong Kong Disneyland to cross the boundary at Lo Wu, the largest control point with 233 clearance channels.

A trial run to reshuffle Hong Kong resident and visitor counters at Lok Ma Chau will be conducted to increase the waiting area for visitors. The department will try to man all 50 counters at Lo Ma Chau during rush hours after opening of Disneyland.

To cope with demand, 187 officers will be redeployed from other divisions to reinforce air, land and sea control points. Among them, 152 will be deployed to land control points.

The department will liaise with Shenzhen authorities to monitor the situation and take crowd control measures to ensure smooth passenger flow.
