Ambrose Lee visits Beijing, Xinjiang, Guangzhou

Secretary for Security Ambrose Lee left Hong Kong today for a duty visit to Beijing, Xinjiang and Guangzhou.

 

In the capital, Mr Lee will meet his counterparts at the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuratorate, the Hong Kong & Macau Affairs Office and the Ministry of Public Security.

 

Mr Lee will fly to Urumqi on September 3. He will meet officials of the Department of Public Security and visit anti-terrorism and border security facilities at Altay and Yining.

 

He will then meet officials of the Guangdong Public Security Bureau in Guangzhou before returning to Hong Kong on September 9.
