Warning issued on bogus bank website

Monetary Authority logo

The Monetary Authority has issued a warning on fraudulent website www.ltoffshore.com, which looks similar to the official website of Lloyds TSB Bank, Hong Kong branch.

 

The bank has clarified it has no connection with the bogus site, and has reported the case to Police.

 

Anyone who has dealt with, or made any transactions through, the site should contact the bank on 2847 3000 and Police on 2860 5012.
