Special traffic measures set for Hung Hom
*
Transport Department

Special traffic arrangements will be implemented in Hung Hom June 29 to July 1 during the 88th Lions Clubs International Convention at the Hong Kong Coliseum.

The Transport Department said there will be more than 200 coaches arriving and leaving the Coliseum, so traffic conditions around it, particularly near the Cross-Harbour Tunnel and Hung Hom KCR Station Podium, will be busier.

Police officers will be stationed at critical locations to manage traffic.

The Tourism Board will dispatch coaches in batches and has reserved vacant land on the Hom Hung Bay reclamation site near Oi King Street as holding area.

Parking spaces, carparks to close

Parking spaces at Cheong Wan Road, Oi King Street and Cheong Tung Road South will be temporarily suspended.

Carparks outside the Coliseum, coach loading bays at Hung Hom KCR Station Podium, and half of the general loading bay at the podium will be closed. Cross-boundary coaches can use the bus stop on the eastern side of the Hung Hom KCR Station.
