*
Hong Kong Police

Police are investigating a traffic accident in which two men were killed in Causeway Bay.

At about 5.50am, two men aged 28 and 30 were travelling on a motorcycle along the second right lane of eastbound Victoria Park Road.

The motorcycle reportedly rammed into the temporary traffic posts near the Causeway Bay flyover. The vehicle subsequently then crashed into the railings of the flyover on the left.

The two were sent to Ruttonjee Hospital where the 28-year-old man was certified dead at 6.21am while the 30-year-old man at 6.15am.

Hong Kong Island's special traffic investigation team is following up.

Anyone with information to offer is urged to contact the investigating officers on 3106 8800.
