Information sought on speedboat crash
*
Hong Kong Police

Police have appealed for information on a boat collision in Sai Kung on June 12 which killed two people.

At about 7.40pm, a speedboat crashed with another vessel with three people onboard near Pak Ma Tsui at Sai Kung Port Shelter.

Two passengers, a 44-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman, were killed and the vessel's 51-year-old master injured.

Anyone with information should call Police on 2803 6156 or 2803 6176.

The Marine Department's Marine Accident Investigation & Shipping Security Policy Branch is also probing the incident.

A report will be submitted to the Director of Marine in about two months. It will also make recommendations on safety measures to prevent a recurrence.
