Woman killed in Yuen Long traffic accident

Police appeal for information about a June 4 traffic accident in Yuen Long in which a 17-year-old woman was killed after being hit by a minibus.

 

Shortly after 11pm yesterday, a minibus travelling along Castle Peak Road towards Tuen Mun reportedly knocked down the woman who was crossing the road near the junction with Kik Yeung Road.

 

The woman was sent to Tuen Mun Hospital where she was certified dead at 11.40pm.

 

The Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North, is investigating the case.

 

Witnesses to the accident or those who have information to offer are urged to contact investigating officers at 2675 3386.
