Sham Shui Po drug centre neutralised
Seizure: The 300 grams of cocaine and heroin, and attenuating and packaging equipment seized.
*

Customs officers have neutralised a drug refining and distribution centre in Sham Shui Po, arresting a 27-year-old man and seizing 300g of cocaine and heroin worth $250,000.

Officers intercepted the man in Sham Shui Po at 7pm yesterday. He was found with 30g of cocaine. About 240g of cocaine and 30g of heroin was then found in a Fuk Wa Street flat, along with attenuating and packaging equipment.

The department believes the drugs were intended for street-level traffickers in Kowloon West. The man has been charged with drug trafficking and manufacturing and will appear in Kowloon City Magistracy tomorrow.
