Castle Peak accident claims two lives

Police are investigating a traffic accident near Castle Peak this morning in which a 22-year-old man and 19-year-old woman were killed.

 

At about 6.30am, a motorcycle travelling along the middle lane on Tuen Mun Road heading for Tuen Mun reportedly lost control and rammed into the central divider on its right near Siu Lam.

 

The pair were sent to Tuen Mun Hospital where they were certified dead at 7.17am and 7.09am.

 

The New Territories South special traffic investigation team is following up. People who saw the accident or have information to offer should contact the investigating officers at 2611 3200 or 2611 3320.
