2 charged with conspiracy to defraud

Hong Kong Police

Police have charged a 36-year old man and a 43-year-old woman suspected to be involved in pyramid selling, jointly with one count of conspiracy to defraud.

 

The director and a core member of the Mong Kok commercial company, raided by Police on April 7 suspected pyramid selling, were charged jointly with one count of conspiracy to defraud and will appear in Kowloon City Magistracy on April 11.

 

During the operation, four men and eight women, aged 17 to 52, were arrested. Those not charged have been released on bail of up to $100,000.
