Missing American: Michael Justin O'Brien, 30, was last seen in a yellow T-shirt, a red jacket, a pair of brown trousers and grey shoes, and carrying two items of baggage.

Police are appealing for information on a missing American man. Michael Justin O'Brien, 30, arrived in Hong Kong from Guangzhou on March 3. He contacted the US Consulate on March 4 and 5 before he went missing.

Standing about 1.8 metres tall and weighing about 79 kilograms, he has a long face and short brown hair. He was last seen in a yellow T-shirt, a red jacket, a pair of brown trousers and grey shoes, and carrying two items of baggage.

Police believe he may be wandering near the airport. Anyone with information should call Police on 2860 1045.
