A new Complaints Against Police Reporting Centre in Wan Chai will start providing services to the public from March 21.
Located on the ground floor of the Caine House Annex Block, at No.3 Arsenal Street, next to the Central Police Station, this centre provides a convenient way for the public to make their reports.
Complaint reports can also be made at Police stations, online at the Police Force's website, by fax, letter or telephone.
The new centre will open from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday and from 8am to 1pm on Saturday. During office hours, the complaints hotline, 2866 7700, will be answered by officers on duty, while callers' messages will be recorded outside office hours. The new faxline, 2200 4460, will start operation from 1 pm on March 19.
With the opening of the new reporting centre, the report rooms of the Complaint Against Police Office's regional offices, including Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New Territories, will cease operation at 1 pm on March 19.
