699,711 passengers arrive in HK in just 2 days

Immigration Department

A total of 699,711 passengers arrived in Hong Kong on December 27 and 28, the Immigration Department says.

 

Among them, 57,546 were Mainland visitors, accounting for 8.2%.

 

According to the figures released by the department, 392,875 passengers arrived in Hong Kong on December 27 while 306,836 entered the city on December 28.

 

Of the 699,711 passengers, 91,965 (13.1%) entered Hong Kong by air, 88,804 (12.7%) by sea and 518,942 (74.2%) by land.
