Lesson learned: Commissioner for Narcotics Rosanna Ure chats with entertainer Roy Chow about his visit to the Drug InfoCentre. |

Entertainer Roy Chow, on 18-months probation for a drug conviction, has learned more about the danger of drugs during his visit to the Drug InfoCentre.
Commissioner for Narcotics Rosanna Ure said it is important for young people to realise the serious consequences of drug taking.
The Narcotics Division invited him to visit the centre after his conviction. Chow said he was impressed by the interactive movie about young people and drugs, with its real-life storyline, which allows viewers to decide whether or not the characters should take drugs.
Mrs Ure said: "That is why the centre, which opened in June, was established - to intensify preventive education efforts through this innovative and interactive approach."
She said the centre will be a platform for teachers, parents and anti-drug workers to collaborate in the fight against drug abuse.
The Government will continue to work with non-government organisations, schools and parents to promote anti-drug messages and encourage youngsters to lead a healthy life.
