Woman dies in Aberdeen traffic accident

Police are investigating a traffic accident in which a 78-year-old woman was killed in Aberdeen this morning.

 

Shortly after 7.35 am, a light goods vehicle driven by a 43-year-old man was reversing from Ka Wo Street into Tang Fung Street.

 

Near No. 2 Tang Fung Street, the vehicle reportedly knocked down a 78-year-old woman who was crossing the road.

 

Sustaining serious head injuries, the woman was rushed to Queen Mary Hospital where she was certified dead at 12.13 pm.

 

Hong Kong Island's Special Investigation Team for Traffic is investigating.
