Wan Chai murder probe underway

Police are investigating a murder in which a woman was killed and a man was found dead in Wan Chai last night.

 

At 9.20pm, Police received a report that a woman was injured inside a flat at 7 Lee Garden Road.

 

At the scene, Police officers found a woman whose neck had been slashed lying unconscious on the floor inside the unit.

 

She was rushed to the Ruttonjee Hospital where she was certified dead at 9.55pm.

 

During the investigation, Police also found a man lying unconscious on the second floor platform at 13 Lee Garden Road. It was suspected that he had plunged to the platform from somewhere nearby.

 

The man was also sent to the Ruttonjee Hospital where he was certified dead at 10.20pm.

 

No identification documents were found on the two deceased.

 

The Wan Chai District Crime Squad is investigating.
