*
Hong Kong Police

Police have arrested seven expatriates and two Mainlanders for holding fake exhibitor passes and loitering at the HK International Jewellery Show at the Convention & Exhibition Centre.

At about 3.45pm, Police saw the seven expatriates, five men and two women aged 30 to 53, acting suspiciously at the exhibition, and intercepted them as they were leaving.

They were each found with a forged exhibitor's pass, and one, a 43-year-old woman, was suspected to be connected with a theft at a September jewellery fair. They have been detained for enquiries.

Police also arrested two male Mainlanders, aged 30 and 37, found loitering in the exhibition hall at about 2pm. A quantity of gems and ornaments were seized from them.
