Hong Kong Police

A 34-year-old man was killed and a 37-year-old man injured in a Tsuen Wan traffic accident this morning.

At about 8.30am, a medium goods vehicle travelling along Route Twisk towards Tsuen Wan reportedly went out of control near the Hong Kong Gun Club, colliding  head-on with two cars in the opposite lane.

A 34-year-old driver was trapped inside his car. Firemen rescued him and sent him to Yan Chai Hospital. He was certified dead at 9.29am.

The 37-year-old driver of the other car had slight neck injuries and was sent to Yan Chai Hospital for treatment.

New Territories South's Special Investigation Team for Traffic is investigating. Anyone who saw the accident is urged to contact the officers at 2490 5581 or 2611 3200.
