More suspects arrested in Kwai Chung murder

Police have arrested eight men in connection with a murder that occurred in Kwai Chung on January 16 in which a 41-year-old man was killed.

 

At about 7pm yesterday, Police officers responding to a report of a fight found two injured men, aged 29 and 41, lying on the ground on the second floor of a carpark at the  Hong Kong International Distribution Centre near Terminal 3 in Kwai Chung.

 

The two were rushed to Princess Margaret Hospital where the older man died.The younger man was later arrested.

 

A post mortem conducted today revealed the man died of a brain haemorrhage.

 

Officers of the New Territories South Regional Crime Unit also rounded up eight more men, aged 23 to 37. They are all being detained for enquiries.

 

Investigations are continuing.
