Driver killed in Shek Kip Mei crash

Police are investigating a car crash in which a 26-year-old man was killed in Shek Kip Mei today.

 

About 10am a car driven by the man was travelling along Tai Po Road northbound towards Sha Tin.

 

After passing Kam Shan Country Park, the driver lost control and the car swerved into the southbound lane colliding head-on with another vehicle.

 

Trapped inside the compartment, the driver was rescued by firemen. Sustaining head injuries, he was certified dead at Caritas Medical Centre.

 

Anyone who witnessed the crash is urged to call Police on 2773 5220.
