Order

*
Halloween crowd control set for Lan Kwai Fong
*
Hong Kong Police

Police will implement crowd control measures and special traffic arrangements in Lan Kwai Fong on October 30 and 31.

Large crowds are expected as people traditionally dress up for Halloween and cruise around the popular area.

Police will implement, if necessary, a queuing system and close roads for public safety and order.

When the queuing system is implemented, people wishing to enter the Lan Kwai Fong area will be directed to queue up along Wellington Street west of D'Aguilar Street.

When the queue extends further, people will be directed to enter Stanley Street, leading up to Pottinger Street.

People can expect to wait to get into the area, so those with restaurant bookings should arrive early.

Parents are advised not to bring young children into the area.

People should follow the directions of Police officers and be co-operative to maintain a safe environment.
