Duo wanted for tendering fraud
*
ICAC

Two men are wanted for defrauding the Housing Authority by circumventing the tendering process for the supply of metallic gates for housing projects.

Lam Man-hung, 54, director of a gate company, and Billy Tsoi, 50, director of an engineering company, are wanted by the ICAC for submitting non-genuine quotations for the supply of gates between April 2, 1997 and September 13, 2000.

The two companies supplied metallic gates to authority housing projects.

Anyone who has information on their whereabouts is urged to contact the ICAC on its 24-hour hotline 2526 6366.

Meanwhile, six other gate suppliers charged in connection with the alleged fraud today appeared at Eastern Magistracy.

They had their case adjourned until December 22 for mention.
