6 arrested after man found dead

Hong Kong Police

Police have arrested six people over the murder of a 34-year-old man in Mong Kok early today.

 

The three men and three women, aged 20 to 40, have been detained for questioning.

 

Shortly after 2.30am, a passer-by told Police he found a man lying unconscious on Canton Road near Dundas Street. Police went to the location and found the victim, who had head injuries. He was rushed to Kwong Wah Hospital and was certified dead at about 4.45am.

 

Initial enquiries reveal the deceased may have been attacked outside 299 Reclamation Street.

 

A post-mortem examination will be conducted tomorrow.
