Man dies in Mong Kok traffic accident

Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Mong Kok this morning in which a 53-year-old man was killed. 

 

Shortly after 4am, a 30-year-old man was reversing his medium goods van on Cheung Mong Road outside a petrol station near Mong Kok Road when he heard a noise. The driver stepped out of the vehicle and found a man lying on the ground. 

 

The man was rushed to Kwong Wah Hospital with serious head injuries. He was certified dead at 11.18am. 

 

Investigations by Kowloon West's Special Investigation Team for Traffic are underway.
