Man arrested for Western murder

*
Hong Kong Police

Police arrested a 43-year-old man suspected to be in connection with the murder of his 43-year-old wife in Western early today.

He is still being detained by the District Crime Squad, Western for enquiries.

The woman's body was found in her home on Belcher's Street in Kennedy Town. Her husband told Police at about 9.30am that she was lying unconscious on the bed.

There was no sign of ransacking but the husband claimed that a gold necklace, gold ring and $6,000 in cash were missing.

She was rushed to Queen Mary Hospital and certified dead on arrival.
