Four more men have been charged by the Independent Commission Against Corruption with conspiracy to defraud the Highways Department over the disposal of asbestos wall panels from the Aberdeen Tunnel.
Ho Kwok-poon and Kong Chuck-yui, both 45, are respectively director and project manager of a property company.
Li Sai-hing, 33, is a director of an engineering company while Lee Kai-yuen, 39, is a director of an asbestos abatement company.
They will appear in Eastern Magistracy tomorrow morning.
The four defendants face one joint charge which alleges they conspired with others to defraud the Highways Department between April 15 and June 8 last year.
They allegedly falsely represented that panels removed from the tunnel pursuant to three works orders had been disposed of in accordance with the Waste Disposal (Chemical Waste) (General) Regulations, thereby deceiving the department into releasing payments.
They have been released on bail, pending their court appearance.
Meanwhile, three others were earlier charged by the ICAC in connection with the same case. They now await court proceedings.
