Fatal traffic accident in Ta Kwu Ling

A 39-year-old man was killed in a Ta Kwu Ling car park.

A staff member called Police at about 4pm to report that a container truck had crashed into a goods vehicle parked inside the car park.

Police found the man lying dead outside the container truck.

Initial investigations suggest that he might have been rammed by the truck, which accidentally slid backwards while he was working behind it.

Police appeal to the members of the public who might have witnessed the accident is urged to contact the investigation officers on 2675 3386.

The Special Investigation Team for Traffic, New Territories North, is looking into both cases.
