Building height limits set for Peak
*

The Peak Area Outline Zoning Plan has been amended to impose building height restrictions for "government, institution or community" and "other specified uses" zones, the Town Planning Board says.

The restrictions will ensure the scale and intensity of the developments in these sites will be compatible with surrounding developments to maintain the low-rise character of the Peak area.

Other amendments include rezoning two sites from green belt to "government, institution or community" and from green belt to "residential (Group C)2" to reflect the as-built situation.

The draft plan, incorporating the amendments, is available for inspection at the board's secretariat, the Planning Enquiry Counters in North Point and Sha Tin, the Hong Kong District Planning Office, the Central & Western District Office and the Wan Chai District Office.

Written representations in respect of the amendments can be made to the board's secretary by July 28.
