William Lo has been appointed Airport Authority Executive Director, Finance, from July, succeeding Raymond Lai who will retire at the end of May.
The authority's Chief Executive Officer Stanley Hui said Mr Lo is a seasoned accountant with more than 25 years' experience in auditing, accounting, finance management and control, and corporate treasury.
"I am confident Mr Lo's rich experience in, and deep knowledge of, accounting and finance will be an important asset for the authority."
Mr Lo will be responsible for the formulation and execution of the authority's accounting and financial policies with a view to ensuring it runs according to prudent commercial principles and best-industry practices.
