Cross Bay Link designs to go on show
*
Civil Engineering & Development Department

An exhibition on six bridge design options for the Cross Bay Link in Tseung Kwan O will be held from March 11 to 17.

The proposed link is a bridge spanning Tseung Kwan O Bay featuring dual two-lane carriageways, a cycling track and footpath. The main span section in the link's middle portion will be designed as a feature bridge.

Each of the six design options has a theme - The Bow, Link with Wings, The Sail, Alliance Bridge, Eternity Arch and The Gateway. Four of these design options evolved from the winning entries of the Design Ideas Invitation Event.

The Civil Engineering & Development Department will conduct a survey to gauge public views on these options to help select the final design.

Survey forms will be distributed at the exhibition venues and can be downloaded here. Completed forms can be returned to the collection box at the exhibition venues or by post to the department's New Territories East Development Office at Suite 1213 Chinachem Golden Plaza, 77 Mody Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, before March 24.
