The fourth quarter saw 29 land transactions involving a total land premium of $2.348 billion, the Lands Department says.
It registered 25 lease modifications and four land exchanges, 10 being modifications of a technical nature involving no premium. Eleven were on Hong Kong Island, 11 in Kowloon and seven in the New Territories. The transactions excluded small-house cases.
Another five lots were granted by private treaty - one for a Kowloon Tong electricity substation, one for a Hung Hom student hostel and the other three for a Housing Authority public housing development.
Transaction records of the lease modifications, land exchanges and private treaty grants are available here.
