Bridge ground investigation contract signed
*
Highways Department

The Highways Department and Fugro Geotechnical Services signed a contract today to conduct ground investigation for reclamation works for the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge Hong Kong Boundary Crossing Facilities.

The works will start in the third quarter of next year. Ground investigation will provide essential information for their design.

The facilities require a reclaimed area of about 150 hectares, including 19 hectares for the southern landfall of the Tuen Mun-Chek Lap Kok Link, mainly for passenger clearance and cargo processing.
